Nicole Johnson has cared for my son Jesse periodically for the last two years. She provided excellent care. Jesse can be a bit of a challenge and Nicole handled him in a firm and loving manner. She always made us feel like we were a part of the family. She put great emphasis on a well rounded program for the kids that included academics as well as play time. Her participation in his education over the summer months last year helped Jesse excel in reading and math when he first started first grade. I am grateful for all the energy she put into the children.

Nicole has been providing daycare services to both our children for about 8 months. Although that is not a long period of time, my husband and I are very secure knowing that our children are under her care. We had some bad experiences with our previous daycare provider. With that said we are really happy with the services that she is providing. We were actually considering moving but changed our minds with one of the factors being that our boys would not be under Nicole’s care any longer. During drop off and pick up times, Nicole is always courteous toward us. She instills discipline and good manners, especially toward our three year old. We have a long commute each day so we do not have that much time or are too tired at times in the evenings to practice those actions. So we really appreciate that Nicole does practice them. Once again we are very happy with the care that Nicole is providing and we look forward to a long relationship.

Little Tots is AMAZING! After only one month there, our three-year-old son has made incredible strides. He has learned to cut with scissors and write straight lines, and has become more open to trying new things -- like vegetables and sharing with friends!

What's really telling is that he raves about "Ms. Nicole's" school constantly and feels proud of himself for his accomplishments there, which is truly a first for him. At previous childcare centers, he would primarily talk about being injured by other children or being disciplined when asked about his day. The fact that he has only positive things to say about Little Tots and Ms. Nicole and that he asks me to "go back" shortly after being picked up from there tells me that he is in a safe, nurturing, and intriguing environment.

I am extremely pleased with our decision to enroll our son in Little Tots.

I have been taking my daughter to Nicole Johnson at Little Tots Child Care three days a week since April 2006. My daughter was only 3 ½ months old when I needed to go back to work so it was important to choose someone I could trust to take great care of her. Nicole impressed me with our first meeting when I saw her resolve a conflict between a couple kids in her care. I liked that she addressed the issue right away and I saw how well the kids listened to her. My husband and I were slightly hesitant in the beginning since our daughter would not be getting one on one care. She provides me with specific details of my daughter’s day which I really appreciate since I can’t be with her and it helps me know what to expect the rest of the evening. I feel that Nicole truly cares for my daughter and treats her as her own. She is excited to tell me new things that Octavia has said or done and relates milestones that she has met to those that my daughter is making or will make. She believes in a set routine (sleeping, eating,) and my daughter has benefited from this. She shares ideas, tips, etc. that she has experienced or educated herself on. Nicole is genuine and passionate in her love and care for my daughter.

I can't thank you enough for providing me with the peace of mind necessary to leave my precious child at daycare all day so that I can work to provide for her. My past experience with daycare left me concerned and anxious. I knew when I left her with you she was in a loving, caring, family type atmosphere. She was able to grow and learn with other children and feel good about herself at the end of each day.

She will forever remember her time with you and cherish it. I loved seeing her artwork, crafts and daily work that she would bring home. I know she will be better prepared for Kindergarten because of the teaching you provided. Again, thank you for loving my daughter the way I would. "Little Tots Child Care was a wonderful place for my children! They learned so much, and had a fun time too. There were always new activities and things for them to do. From watching chickens hatch to making homemade ice cream, they always came home with a long list of all the things they did that day. Nicole took great care of them and was always genuinely interested in each child and their development. Even though my kids are now both in school, they still love to go visit Nicole and her children. They have fond memories of their time there. I would encourage anyone who wants to have their children learn new things, experience fun activities and be in a loving environment to go to Little Tots Child Care."
